Volleyball Champs!!!!

Hannah's volleyball team place in Springdale on Saturday in a one day tournament. The girls were on the court at 7:30 am and thier final game ended about 7:30 pm. 12 hours in the gym, but the girls played awesome!

The girls won the championship in the gold division today!! Very exciting game!! The tie breaker that is played to 15 (must win by 2 points) was played to 21(us) 19(them)!!!

I am so proud!

Volleyball season has started. She plays for the Fort Smith Juniors 11's team. Hannah had her first tournament in Tulsa on Saturday January 16th. The girls played AWESOME!! They did not lose a single game in the pool play and advanced to the bracket play in 1st place. The final team they place for first place, they ended up playing 3 matches. The lost the first match, won the second match and lost the last match 14-16. They finished the day in 2nd place. All of the girls played hard and I am so proud of them. We have 5 tournments left through April, so be watching for many more volleyball pictures!!

Deer Season

Nick and Eddie both got a deer last weekend. Which in one sense makes me sad (the whole killing bambi thing...) But another part of me is happy because now my husband can not mope around all winter complaining that
he did not get a deer this year. For Nick, it was his very first deer, and he was excited.

There is no picture of Nick and his deer but here is Eddie and his poor 10 point ha ha!
He will probably hate me, but I love that smile of his, so I had to include that picture as well ♥

I can not believe that my "baby" is 5 years old. He is simply the sweetest child, and I do believe he will always be a momma's boy, or at least I pray he will.

We held his party at Chuck E Cheese and he loved every second of it!

He was so brave. Marched right into the school, right down the hall and into his classroom. Sat right down and started working on tracing his name. Of course I had to hold back the tears all the way down that long hallway until I got into the car. I picked him up at 2:00 and he came skipping out of the class, grabbed his stuff and gave me a big hug and said he had a great day!

Back to School

Nick started 9th grade today. I am very sad about this. I remember 9th grade like it was yesterday and it is so hard to believe that he is that old.

Hannah started 3rd grade today and still has that excitement of the first day of school. Too nervous to eat breakfast and ready to leave the house 30 minutes early. I only wish that excitment would hang around the whole school year.

David will start his very first Pre-K class this year on August 31st. So we still have 12 days with mommy, but who's counting.

Oh its going to be a quiet house around here very soon. Whatever will I do with myself. I am sure I will figure that out very quickly! I love my kids so much. I hope they all have a wonderful school year!

Daddy Daughter Trip

While I was in OK visiting my sister. Hannah and her Dad went on their annual Daddy Daughter Camping Trip with a good friend and his daughter. They went canoeing, hiking, and exploring in caves at the Buffalo River area.

I spent the the weekend visiting my sister and family in Lawton OK. We had the best time. I was so sad to leave and come home. It seemed like such a short trip.

Saturday we went to Meers. "World Famous" and featured on Food Network. Needless to say it was an awesome burger!

computer problems

Last weekend my primary work computer crashed. It is toast. A new hard drive and video card are on the way. Thank goodness for warranties!!But this leaves me unable to do anything other than check my email from one of our other computers. I miss my computer so much and I also miss being able to upload and edit photos.

I will have alot of catching up to do once my computer is working!

David and I were talking the other day in the car about when he starts school. He has always said that he is not going to school - he wants to stay with me forever. So Dave says "Know why I can't go to school?" and I ask why. He says "Cause I can't write my numbers." So I tell him we will practice and he will know how to write his numbers and his answer is a very quick "NO". ha ha Guess his little plan didn't work out like he thought!

So we have been practicing his name and numbers. I wanted to save his first try so he can look back and see how much better he will get with practice.

don't laugh (too hard) here is a semi before picture. i remembered last minute - so cabinet doors are missing and the old washer and dryer is gone

I have been wanting to do this for years - so I am just happy that it is finally finished!

Volleyball is her game

Hannah is on the Fort Smith Juniors 10's team. She is loving volleyball. She has a great little team and great coach. We travel to Tulsa this weekend to see her play in her first tournament. She is so excited. This is the first traveling team we have ever played with. Here are some pictures from last nights scrimage.

We went to see Santa. Hannah loved it and participated very well.

David not so much - he finally let dad carry him over to give Santa a high-5 - but was not too happy about it

Nick went too - but stayed on the sidelines and laughed

After we saw Santa we went to see Christmas Lights. We went to see a house that has the light synchronized to the chirstmas carols that you hear on your car radio on a specific radio channel. It was very neat!

Here we are waiting in a LONG line of cars (we waited about 45 mins to see this house)

So the boys start playing in the car while we wait. Hannah and Nick are in the back complaining the whole time (go figure)

FINALLY what we have been waiting for! My pictures do not do it justice - it was really beautiful. Notice Santa was there too - handing out candycanes to each car.
